BGC Eats 2014: Food Tour For Passionate Stomachs

Bonifacio Global City, one of the country's fast rising mixed-use district, is home to a wide range of gastronomical finds that's yet to be discovered.

To showcase the area's healthy cultural tourism, a food tour called "BGC Eats" was curated and conducted by Chef-Writer JJ Yulo. This year's tour is made even more appetizing and educational by featuring four experts with a promise that not one tour is the same.

Yours truly got a sneak peek of the tour happening on July 26.

Hopped on the bus and we made way to our first stop - Gustare, a quaint commissary and private dining restaurant. It is owned by Chef Ginni Roces de Guzman. Different pastries made with egg white awaited us.

No time for sugar rush! Went to our second stop at the Fort Strip and learned to say "cheers!" in German while indulging in different sausages. Prost Braumeister was featured in KrisTV with Sam Milby, who is one of the co-owners.

Not only were the dishes delectable, I was able to learn a lot of geeky food facts from Ms. Artha. As they say, "Four Experts. Four Restaurants. One Amazing Tour." :)

  1. Oh wow! You are so blessed to be part of this FOOD TOUR at BGC. They actually did a very nice job, having this kind of a meetup, will help FOOD Enthusiasts to enjoy eating food and the same time help them appreciate it!

  2. Whoever thought of this idea is a GENIUS!! I'm interested in all the 4 places you've reviewed but extremely intrigued by Future Feast. I hope they still have this when I come visit in October as I would love to experience this.

  3. Sadly, the Future Feast was a one time thing (for this year). :(
