Redefine Your Coffee Experience at Tipsy Beans, Mandaluyong

Tipsy Beans opened its doors to the public in June 2013, owned by brother tandem Stephen Alvin and Patrick Lorenz Gueco.

The cafe has minimalist interior and quirky details where something will definitely catch your eye. Scribble on their message board, leave a love lock or bang your head on the wall to relieve stress (just kidding on the last part :P). Add in a sofa and some outlets, it might as well be my coffice (cafe + office) or an after school hang out spot.

Don't let the cafe's name deceive you into thinking their liquor-infused food and drinks will intoxicate you. Check out what we ate to know why:

Our nice meal starts with a sober drink in the form of kopi luwak (civet coffee), best without sugar or cream.

Pair your hot brew with Delectable Sisig Triangles, filled with tasty sisig goodness and garlic sauce or the filling and healthy Good Ol' Chicken Pesto sandwich.

For a second I forgot I was drinking a vodka-infused drink, the Vootbeer Float. Add more A&W Cream Soda to taste.

I enjoyed my tipsy drink with a taste of Spicy Tuna Pesto and Drunken Hungarian Sausage with Mushroom pasta. Serving can be shared by two.

Rice meals are also available. I love the tender All Time Favorite Adobo with Cheese sauce!

Sipping the Frozen Hot Chocolate is like having dessert in liquid form. Be careful with brain freeze though!

To cap off our visit, we were served Tipsy Bean's best seller drink - Irish Cream on Coffee Rocks. This feel good drink is the strongest in their menu. Designed to be consumed in moderation, it is recommended that you let the brewed coffee ice cubes melt for that rich and creamy taste. Love it!

We were also served Beer Battered Fish Fillet (rice meal, P80), Potato Nuggets (P50) and Potato Wedges with Cheese and Garlic Dip (P65). Both potato sides were highly addictive, I forgot to take photos! Haha!

Lots of choices at budget friendly prices! I find the alcohol content of their tipsy drinks just enough to enhance the flavor. Despite the limited number of staff, food is prepared just as it was ordered. I'm looking forward to try their Bacon Milkshake on my next visit, which I have been reading about.
