"Buhay Bida, Buhay Pelikula" Experience at Super8 FunFest 2015!

More than the blockbuster deals, super prizes and amazing entertainment, the recently concluded Super8 FunFest was the company's way to give thanks to its loyal customers.

The grocery chain has been around for nine (9) years, starting as a wholesaler to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) such as sari-sari stores. The first two days (March 26 & 27) were exclusive to Super8 Rewards cardholders plus up to two guests each. The third day was open to the general public, majority of which signed up to become members (P100 for the card).

I went on the first day and it was my first time. I definitely saw and felt everybody was having a good time and got a Super Bida treatment. If only I didn't have other commitments and that WTC was near our place, I wouldn't pass up on the deals.

Like Ms. Lace said in her blog, it can get very noisy as each booth (which was all beautifully decorated btw) has their own sound systems. That is on top of the non-stop entertainment on the main stage from guest celebrities like Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, Julia Montes, Alex Gonzaga and other notable stars. And some Super Bidas got lucky with the raffle draw and brought home a new Toyata Wigo!

Super8 also introduced Mr. Richard Yap as their newest endorser, who performed songs for the crowd. A businessman and Super8 customer himself, it is important to be represented by someone who believes in the brand, as said by Super8 Business Group Director Armand Mendoza.

Today Super8 Grocery Warehouse has forty-two (42) branches all over Luzon. Half of their customer base is comprised of end consumers in C & D segment -- the masses. They plan to open at least ten (10) more stores in the next 3-5 years and is considering expansion to Visayas and Mindanao.
