Let Shangri-La Plaza treat you on a summer indoor picnic at this year's Shang Gourmet Strip!
Lovers of good food will be pleased to know that over the course of two weekends - May 21 to 22 and May 28 to 29, Shangri-La Plaza will be featuring the mall's popular, well-known restaurants specializing in a variety of cuisines.
Sampler-sized portions of new offerings as well as best sellers will be served by participating restaurants. Guests can also avail of special promos and discounts exclusively offered during the event.
The food fair's first leg on May 21 - 22 presents a gastronomic adventure with Akira, Arya, Cibo, Epicurious, Happy Cream Puff, Kimono Ken, Planet Grapes, Recipes by Café Metro, Watami, Wild West Roadhouse Grill, and Zao Vietnamese Bistro.

Towards the end of the month, the food fair puts the spotlight on culinary stars Balboa, Brotzeit, C2 Classic Cuisine, Cyma, Ganso-Shabuway, Green Pastures, Matgalne, Pasto, Sumo Sam, TWG Tea, and Wicked.

creating their own pasta through a workshop by
Balboa and a
tea appreciation class by
TWG Tea on May 28, featuring the brand's extensive array of luxury leaves and brews.
Don't forget to snap and share your favorite food find from #ShangGourmetStrip on social media. You never know, your next meal in one of the participating restaurants may be courtesy of Shangri-La Plaza! Follow these simple steps:
- Take your most creative #FOTD (Food of the Day) photo of any dish from the Gourmet Strip.
- Post it on either Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #ShangGourmetStrip and make sure that your account is set to public.
- Tag 5 friends and @shangrilaplazaofficial (for Instagram) and "Shangri-La PLaza Official Fan Page" (for Facebook).
- Deadline of submission is on May 30, 12:00 pm.
- Three (3) winners will be announced on May 30, 5:00 pm. First place winner will get Php 1,500 worth of GCs from the restaurant* of their choice while the second and third place winners will get Php 1,000 and Php 500 worth of GCs respectively from the restaurant* of their choice.
- Selection of the winner will be based on over-all aesthetics, creativity of the photo and the caption.
- Participation in the contest gives Shang the permission to publish the photos in publicity materials of Shangri-La Plaza.
- * Note: Restaurant must be a participating tenant of the Shang Gourmet Strip.

ReplyDeleteThe participating restaurants offer delish dishes. Only if I live in Manila or in a place nearby, I'll surely be joining here and if I don't get the chance to win, I can still pay a visit there and experience a good food trip!

ReplyDeleteA flavorful event for food lovers! I would love to attend but unfortunately, I already have prior commitments on the said dates :( I wish they could have another one soon. I'm personally interested with the create your own pasta as I'm very much into pasta.
