Fellowship: Yakimix, The Podium
The females in our church family planned a Friday night out, like having dinner somewhere or dance and sing the night away at Redbox. Last minute change of plans, we merged our bonding time with the worship team + tech team + our friends from the US and agreed to have dinner at Yakimix Podium.
I arrived at the venue alone and asked for reservations under my friend's name, but it wasn't on the list. I had to wait outside for more than 10 minutes [guesstimate..], mention there are Americans in our group before I was ushered inside to check and there they are! Haha! Silly me. Nobody mentioned nor did I think they would reserved under the [former] church's name.
Moving on.. I was whisked away by Michele and made a beeline to the table filled with different types of sushi, fresh sashimi and Japanese salad.. is this what heaven feels like? ^.^
I picked out a couple of raw meat pieces and let the adults grill it teehee :">

As much as I love tempura, I skipped it and tried other food items. Bottomless drink is already included in the price, so I helped myself with Rootbeer <3
A meal will not be complete without dessert!
Heaps of ice cream, cakes, chocolate, candies.. You name it!
The small shot glass dessert in the picture above? I tried it out of curiosity. It has sake and turned out the only thing that it didn't like that night :(

Eat all you can buffets are a challenge for me. Unlike when I was a little younger [I'm not that old naman!], I can only consume so much. There wasn't anything extraordinary with the food and honestly expensive for my taste. But... I was after the bonding time, the smokeless table top grill experience and unlimited access to sushi + sashimi + kimchi + corn + dessert + rootbeer haha! Thank you Pastor Dave! :D

P.S.: Rachel made a quick observation and concluded that the Podium branch has better options compared to SM Mall of Asia branch.
