I love latte art (I look for it on Tumblr and Pinterest) and sadly, I have never been to a coffee shop that served me with one (or I haven't been to the right places). A latte art workshop is facilitated at Eastwood Coffee Con and I got to try it out myself :D

Geared towards supplying coffee for hotels, restaurants, etc., the Kickstart Coffee & Silca Coffee varieties (both under Silca Coffee Roasting Company) use beans sourced from Cavite, Batangas, and Benguet.

Featured in their booth are unique, limited edition coffee blends which are sold exclusively during the event. The Eastwood Blend is a blend of Arabica and Robusta that is both mellow and stimulating; the McKinley Blend, created in the Italian tradition, has strong and complex taste; while the Newport Blend has a striking combination of Arabica and Robusta beans for a bold taste.

From Bennett & Palmer booth, guests can try Hello5 Vietnamese coffee. It comes with five (5) flavors that compliments one's Wu Xing sign/element: Original for Metal, Regular for Earth, Mondo for Water, Organic for Wood, and Deluxe for Fire.
Tip: if you like your coffee sweet, go for Mondo flavor.
Aside from coffee, Bennett & Palmer can try and purchase Marou single-origin artisanal dark chocolate flavors.

The press launch ended with a live Art from Coffee Grounds Workshop with Mr. Vincent Navarro. An accomplished Visual artist and Fine Arts teacher hailing from the University of the Philippines Baguio, his love affair with using coffee as an art medium culminated in his ground-breaking thesis "Art in Coffee".

This kind of art is what I'm good at (well, because I don't draw, paint or do sculptures) and I had so much fun! I think I'm the only one who finished the Rizal template :P
