Pasta, Pancakes and Clara Ole!
A few days ago I received a package (actually picked it up Friday from Mama's house) from a homegrown Filipino brand containing an array of food products ranging from sauces to Dips n' Dressings enough for us to whip up a feast!
We're not new to Clara Ole. In fact, I personally enjoy Asian dressing for my salad and my aunt gives us Guava Jelly every time she sends over grocery items for my grandma.
That very same day I got so excited to cook my cravings, spaghetti for dinner and pancakes for breakfast the next day, that I dropped by the supermarket to purchase ground beef and pancake mix before going home. I prepared the Clara Ole Three-Cheese Pasta Sauce and Ideal Gourmet Spaghetti/Linguine.
Nanay told me to postpone cooking until the next day (because it was dark already.. and she beat me to it (saying I won't be able to cook outside if it's already windy). I woke up with the pasta and sauce piping hot and ready to eat :3
A combination of Parmesan, Romano and Cheddar cheese plus herbs and spices, Three-Cheese pasta sauce is perfect for cheese lovers like myself! Nanay added hotdog (would have been better if it was mushroom) and a little sugar because I'm the only one at home who likes my pasta sauce Italian style :3
[caption id="attachment_515" align="aligncenter" width="800"] Can't hurt to add cheese on top :p[/caption]
And guess who got pancakes for breakfast today? Me! :D
My tolerance for sweets changed and I'm glad that Clara Ole Maple Pancake Syrup was just right. It didn't give me that umay feel when I had too much and there's a sugar free variant for Nanay (hello diabetes).
I should slow done on eating but I am looking forward to try the Vinaigrette Sesame Mucho (when I remember to buy some lettuce) and the no MSG Ora Mix Mo rice mix, Paella flavor next :)

For pancakes, we add organic honey and not the artificial syrup so we won't have a super sweet taste to it. Maybe you should try the same and see if you like it more.
ReplyDeletei love Clara Ole products especially the sauces. I never knew that they have a pancake syrup for sure i'll purchase that soon.
ReplyDeleteOnly now that I know of this brand of product; Clara Ole, I think they have several products to offer. Very good company that caters to these kind of restaurants.
ReplyDeleteI've tried their three-cheese pasta sauce and loved it! It's really good. I just bought a bottle of their strawberry jam for my PB&J sammich.
ReplyDeleteYou have a sweet Nanay. I think I will gain weight if she will adopt me..hehe.. I love Pancakes!!!! I don't usually eat it during breakfast but during merienda. I can finish up to 5 pieces minus the sugar syrup.
ReplyDeleteFirst time to know about this brand. Next time I go for grocery I'm going to look for this product here in our market, hoping they already have this product in their store.
ReplyDeleteI love Clara Ole products, I actually bring pouches of Three Cheese and Filipino style spaghetti sauce here in Malaysia. As I prefer them over Prego since it's sauce captures my Filipino taste buds.
ReplyDeleteWe currently have the Pancake Syrup and Guava Jelly. We just can't get off these products. I love how they taste on my buds.
ReplyDeleteLucky you! I can't seem to remember if we've used Clara Ole products but you've got a plenty of them to try! I hope that Maple syrup is affordable.. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's around P87.50 but I have to double check :)
ReplyDeleteIt's available nationwide! :)
ReplyDeleteShe loves cooking! But due to her old age, she can't stand for too long so she's not able to cook in our gas stove. :(
ReplyDeleteIf I can't control myself, I'll have pancakes for breakfast every single day at McDo (I have morning classes kasi hehe) <3
I like it too, even more if only Nanay didn't add sugar in it. :)
ReplyDeleteThe pancake syrup comes in 5 different variants!
ReplyDeleteHoney, unfortunately, is not a staple in our house. Not only good with pancakes but also my hot cup of tea!
ReplyDeleteI love Clara Ole's Three Cheese pasta sauce! I didn't know that they offer other products. I wanna try their Cheesy Pesto.
ReplyDeleteI've yet to try it myself! Let me know how it goes for you :)
ReplyDeleteThe Strawberry jelly didn't last for more than 3 days at home! Haha! We love it!
ReplyDelete[…] minimized, unless I take over the kitchen (which doesn’t really happen haha!). Remember the Three Cheese pasta served piping hot when I woke up? I thought I was the one who’ll prepare that.. […]
