Halal and DIY Pizza at Fratini's
GeekyKitch visited Brunei's favorite Italian restaurant.. in Makati City.
Fratini's opened its doors 18 years ago in the heart of Bandar Seri Bawagan, owned by a Muslim, serving Halal-certified Italian food. The restaurant made its way to Malaysia and then the Philippines, making SM Jazz Mall its first home.
The family restaurant has two floors of dining space with outdoor seating at the ground level. There's a lot of open space, common in Italian design, coupled with floor to ceiling windows that let natural light in and wall murals.

Hang out by the open kitchen and watch 'em create pizza :)

Want to unwind or celebrate? Check out their selection of wines and cocktails.

One of Italy's famed food items is the pizza and at Fratini's we were able to experience creating our own 21"! You can too (details below)! :D

This is my first time to visit a Halal-certified restaurant. They prepared the food according to Islamic law, free from pork products, alcohol and other certain ingredients.
Trivia: Islamic Da'wah Council of the Philippines or IDCP is the only duly recognized HALAL authority in the country.
The restaurant also takes pride in using the freshest ingredients, with all their dishes are made from scratch and only when its ordered.
Salad
Insalata Ortolana
Mixed Salad
Pasta
Fettuccini Carbonara
Linguine Al Fruitti Di Mare
Ravioli Al Gamberoni
Main Course
Gamberoni Al Pomodoro Piccante
Braised Lamb Shank
Mixed Grilled Meat
Dessert
Tiramisu Tradizionale
Classico Del Pudding di Choco

Waiting time is worth it! I particularly like the Ravioli and Braised Lamb Shank. The mashed potato on the side wasn't dry and the vegetables were well cooked. Btw, all their dishes are good for sharing (3-4).
Thank you DigitalMediaPH for the invite!
